Le Gentil

THE LITTLE STORY | Le Gentil is our Riesling — and the family’s favourite grape variety. Growing it here is almost madness: it is late-ripening and very difficult to bring to full maturity in our climate. Yet the result always makes us very proud. It is an exceptional age-worthy wine that often stands out in major tastings.

TASTING NOTES | A nose full of freshness with aromas of lime, mandarin and lemongrass, complemented by hints of green apple and a mineral backbone. On the palate, the wine is defined by its refreshing acidity, where each sip calls for another.

TERROIR | Ste-Pétronille, schist with clay-silt soils

VINIFICATION | Aged in stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels
