Our vineyard

A story of passion and renewal

A family story

Founded in 1988, Vignoble Ste-Pétronille took a decisive turn in 2003 with the arrival of the Denault family. Driven by a desire to return to the land, spend more time together, and take on new challenges, they traded their careers in civil engineering and accounting for a winemaking adventure—without any prior experience in the field.

What began as a way to balance work and family quickly turned into an intense learning journey, filled with unexpected challenges and complex time management. But through passion and determination, they turned every obstacle into an opportunity, giving rise to a vineyard that reflects who they are: bold, authentic, and family-driven.

Passion transmitted

The three children, driven by the same passion as their parents, are fully involved in the business, each with clearly defined roles. This transition takes place in a spirit of collaboration and continuity, where the family atmosphere remains at the heart of the business. Together, they are shaping the future of the vineyard with a shared vision and a deep respect for the family legacy.

A respectful and committed approach

At the vineyard, we combine tradition and innovation to carefully cultivate our vines. By promoting soil life and limiting intervention, we allow nature to express itself fully.

Growing organically

Certified organic since 2021, we favor natural practices to preserve the health of our soils and our vines.

Working with nature

Through agroecology, we promote biodiversity and soil regeneration by using compost, manure and forest litter.

A sustainable balance

Less intervention, more respect for life. Our approach allows the vine to adapt and flourish in harmony with its environment.

From earth to glass

Our wines

By minimizing intervention during winemaking, we allow the terroir to fully express itself. Each bottle captures the essence of our local climate, producing wines that authentically reflect the richness and uniqueness of our land.

Our spirits

After the grapes are pressed, the pomace (skins and residue) is distilled to produce organic brandy. This approach maximizes the use of our raw material, reduces waste, and is part of our commitment to eco-responsible viticulture.

Our cider

Born from our love of cider, this project combines local heritage and winemaking expertise. Working with the island’s orchards, we transform their apples into cider, then macerate it with our grape marc. This approach results in a unique cider, steeped in our terroir and family history.
